INGREDIENTS
- 4 whole, thick cut, bone-in pork chops
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1-1/2 c of chicken broth
- 1 can of cream of chicken soup
- 1 envelope dry pork gravy mix
DIRECTIONS
Place chops on bottom of large slow cooker. Mix all other ingredients in a bowl and then pour on top. Cook on low 6-8 hours until the meat is practically falling off of the bone. (I cook mine for 8 and it is awesome.) Serve on your choice of egg noodles, pasta, rice, mashed potatoes, or whatever you think will be good!
Difficulty: It couldn't get much easier!
Time: it took about 5 minutes to prep, and then 8 hours in the slow cooker

I don't eat pork chops, but I'll bet the Big Man would love some for dinner one night. Thanks for the recipe!
ReplyDeleteI made this for my family yesterday and it was a huge hit! I have 4 children and work full time, on top of training for the Portland Marathon, so I am always looking for simple, healthy, delicious recipes. The crock pot is my best friend now that I work in the evenings. I can just throw everything in there in the morning and it's ready for my hubby to serve in the evening! Thank you so much for your website. It has become my new best friend! :)
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you liked the recipe. We use the crock pot about three times a week in our house; it keeps me sane. Good luck with your training!
DeleteI made these last night! I have a 6 and 4 year old and they loved it. My husband even wanted the leftovers to take to work today! Thanks for the Recipe!
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome! So glad your family enjoyed it! :)
DeleteMy 4yr. ate this meal right up.. Happy tummies tonight!!!
ReplyDeleteThis was really yummy, but next time I will use boneless pork chops. Everything fell apart so I had to dig out all the tiny pieces of bone and fat.
ReplyDeleteThanks for another delicious recipe! My husband LOVED this, and we'll be enjoying the leftovers tomorrow! After reading another comment, I decided I didn't want to deal with bones so I just used a roast...easy peasy lemon squeezey ;)
ReplyDeleteIs there any replacement ingredient for the broth?
ReplyDeleteMaybe water, or veggie broth.
DeleteMade this for dinner.. Amazing.. I used brown gravy as I didn't have pork. I also cooked it in the oven.. 350 degrees for 45 mins!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for another wonderful post. Where else could anybody get that type of info in such an ideal way of writing? vanilla prepaid
