INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 loaf bread
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 1 T vanilla
- powdered sugar
- ground cinnamon
DIRECTIONS:
- Melt butter and add brown sugar. Stir.
- Pour butter mixture into a 9 x 13 pan and spread.
- Beat eggs, milk, and vanilla.
- Place one layer of bread. (if this is for company or a party, you can cut off the crusts)
- Spoon 1/2 of egg mixture on top of bread.
- Sprinkle a bit of brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Add second layer of bread.
- Spoon egg mixture.
- Cover and chill overnight.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 40-45 minutes.
